The film Cinderella Man tells the story of a man living through major events of the early 1900s. As the plot drives forward it touches on specific events in history that happened during the time period from the perspective of James Braddock, a man trying to help his family through the harsh times primarily through boxing. These historic events range in chronological order from the 1920s to the New Deal set forth by Franklin D. Roosevelt. Cinderella Man eloquently depicts the events of the early 1900s. The 1920s was a prosperous time in our nation for most. Most people had a fairly easy time making money and paying there dues.
